David Tennant, Billie Piper, Elizabeth Henstridge, William Shatner Among Top Celebrities Scheduled To Attend Wizard World St. Louis, April 1-3

Wizard World, Inc. (OTCBB: WIZD) continues its 2016 schedule with its fourth trip to America’s Center at Wizard World St. Louis, April 1-3. “Doctor Who” stars  David Tennant and Billie Piper, Elizabeth Henstridge  (“Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.”), William Shatner (“Star Trek,” “Boston Legal”), Sean Schemmel ( Dragon Ball Z), Steve Downes and Jen Taylor  (“Halo”), Lou Ferrigno (“The Incredible Hulk,” “The King of Queens”) and Jason David Frank (“Mighty Morphin Power Rangers) headline the roster of celebrity guests scheduled to attend the pop culture extravaganza, the fifth event on Wizard World's calendar of comic and gaming cons in 2016.

Tennant will attend on Saturday, April 2, only. Shatner will appear on Friday and Sunday; Piper, and Henstridge are scheduled for Saturday and Sunday; Schemmel, Downes, Taylor, Ferrigno and Frank will appear all three days. Additional celebrities will be announced in the coming weeks.

Other well-known Wizard World St. Louis guests include YouTube celebrities The Hillywood Show and Chris 51  (“Epic Ink”). The event will also feature major gaming activations and an eSports tournament streaming stage (www.wizardworldgaming.com).

Wizard World is also the home of the most creative comics artists and writers on the planet. Fans attending Wizard World Portland will have a thrilling opportunity to play TEKKEN 7 at a touring event in North America in 2016. There, attendees will enjoy both free-play and a sanctioned tournament during the event that is taking place February 19-21 at the Oregon Convention Center.

Planet Comicon | Stan Lee

Stan Lee, the guy who created and co-created hundreds of iconic superheroes, including Spider-Man, Iron Man, Incredible Hulk, and Thor, is coming to Planet Comicon Kansas City at Bartle Hall May 20, 21 and 22. The legendary former publisher of Marvel Comics is scheduled to sign autographs, pose with fans for photo opportunities, and appear on stage for a Q&A session.

“Every year the show gets better,” said Planet Comicon Kansas City founder and CEO Christopher Jackson. “We are incredibly excited and truly honored to have Stan Lee coming to Kansas City. Tudyk is also known for many other roles, including Alpha in Dollhouse, Tucker McGee in Tucker & Dale vs. Evil, Steve the Pirate in DodgeBall: A True Underdog Story and Wat in A Knight’s Tale.

He co-starred on the ABC sitcom Suburgatory, appeared in the film 42 as baseball manager Ben Chapman and played significant roles in Wreck-It Ralph, Frozen, and Big Hero 6. He has recently played Marcus inMaze Runner: The Scorch Trials.

Karen Gillan is a Scottish actress best known to Doctor Who fans the world over for her role as Amy Pond in the British science fiction series Doctor Who. With her turn as the ever popular Amy Pond on Doctor Who having ended, Gillan set her sights on a role in the terrifying horror hit, Oculus. She was most recently seen in 2014’s most successful film, Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, stealing the show as the nefarious Nebula. With the announcement of the sequel coming shortly before the film’s release, Gillan is set to reprise her role in the newly minted franchise’s follow up.

Returning to television screens in late 2014, Gillan’s first leading role on a US series came with ABC’s sitcom Selfie as Eliza Dooley, a women obsessed with the idea of achieving fame through the use of social media.
